🌸 🏡 🌸 ATTENTION NSW/ACT: Are you Bella’s new forever home? 🌸 🏡 🌸

Beautiful Bella came into care as her family could no longer look after her 🙁 and when her foster carer met her, Bella was described as being a ‘sweet and placid refined lady’.

As we do with all our rescues, Bella was booked to undergo a thorough medical examination and before any surgery occurs and not place our rescues at risk, a full blood test was completed. Bella’s results showed that she was anaemic, which meant she was too weak to have surgery. 🧪

Bella will now need to remain in foster care until she is well enough, and her foster carer Jennifer will now be feeding her a diet of red meat together with veggies, along with a vitality chew to boost her red blood cell count.🥩🥕

Whilst Bella prepares herself for surgery, we would like to commence our search for Bella’s forever home as we know it’s not always easy to re-home a senior.

▪️ AGE: 9 ½ years old
▪️ BREED: Pug Cross
▪️ LOCATION: Sydney
▪️ KIDS: Gets on well
▪️ CATS: Untested

▪️ MEDICAL NOTES: Bella is generally healthy, however due to her older age (and like some of us) she does suffer from arthritis. Although, this is easily manageable by her new family providing Bella with quarterly Synovan injections, a daily Glyde Chew and daily pain relief medication for the rest of her life. While none of the medication is expensive, it is a lifelong commitment to ensure this gentle girl gets to live the rest of her life pain free.

Beautiful Bella is sweet, gentle as a button and is quiet as a mouse. 🤫

This lovely lady wants to be showered with love and cuddles and spend as much time with humans as she can. We would love to find her a family that someone is home pretty much most of the time and a family that is dedicated to her ongoing treatment. 🥰

She likes to start her day off with a leisurely sleep in before a brief bask in the morning the sun.🌤 She’ll love the companionship of another furry friend that is similar in nature and age.

Bella will require to be an indoor companion, with access to the outdoors for when she need to toilet and to potter around the garden. Bella is toilet trained and knows her basic commands.✅
