About Loki ~ 1 year old Husky
Hi, I'm Loki! I'm a one-year-old husky who loves to play! I am a sweet and lively boy with a kind and friendly nature. I'm always eager to play and I'm really good at sharing my toys with other dogs. I still have a little growing to do and some weight to gain as I was very hungry before I was rescued.
I love other dogs and can't get enough of their company. I would prefer to go to a home where I have dog sibling to play with as they make me feel safe and happy. I'm still working on learning social cues from my fellow canine friends as I’m not always the best at knowing when they have had enough so I will need some guidance in this area. I have a heart of gold and I'm only trying to make friends! I don't like being left on my own for too long so a home where someone is home more often than not would be great.
I am an affectionate boy and love pats and games, and once I get to know you I give amazing husky hugs! I walk really well on the lead, although sometimes I get excited by distractions but I'm very friendly and don't bark.
My foster Mum says I need a fair bit of brushing, especially when I'm moulting in the warmer months but I'm very patient when I'm being groomed. As long as I'm getting some attention, I'm happy! I'm working really hard on my toilet training and I'm a clever boy so I’m picking up all my training really fast. I'm sure I'll have it down in no time!
As a working breed, I will need a fair amount of exercise and mental stimulation so if you're an active person/couple looking for a companion, I could be perfect the perfect addition to your family!
