About Fluffy
*In foster care in Stanmore, Sydney*
Fluffy has the softest calico coat, the most gorgeous eyes, and the sweetest little 'meow' ever! This part-Persian lass doesn't let her deafness or epilepsy get in the way of enjoying life to the fullest - she loves to play and explore, and her laser toy is a particular favourite!
Like all Maggie's pets, Fluffy is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Because I'm deaf, I'm looking for a safe, indoor-only home, with possible supervised time in the yard or garden. A pretty low-key, stable sort of vibe is important too - I hate it when people surprise me randomly! A household without young kids will likely be a good match, with a quiet single person would be just purrfect. I DO like dogs, if you've got one of those in residence!
If you're looking for a lap cat or someone who loves (or even tolerates) snuggles, I'm not going to be a great choice - although I enjoy hanging out where the action is, I'm not a fan of being picked up or patted.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a snoozy sort of girl, really! Though in the right mood, I'll bat my toys around the house, stalk my reflection in the mirror or chase moving objects on the TV screen.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm not really a hands-on sort of cat, and I don't like too much bustle which can be confusing and stressful for me, so an adult-only home would be best. Older children who are able to understand my special needs might be nice company, though!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've enjoyed the time I've spent with friendly dogs while in foster care! I'm less partial to other cats, but happy to give it a try if you've got a nice one at home :)
Medical notes
Fluffy's epilepsy is controlled with medication - a quarter-tablet on her food twice a day, which she eats without issue. She's had no seizures since starting her medication.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
