Larry! *On Trial in His New Home*

*LARRY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Happy as Larry!! But what would make Larry even happier is his very own forever home where he could have his humans all to himself; will it be with you???

Loveable Larry is forever flashing his BIG Staffy smile! He totally adores attention, even making a ‘purring’ sound to show his appreciation while receiving pats or cuddles. This approachable young dog is happiest when he is in the arms of a human, and it doesn’t matter if they’re big or small or short or tall, Larry just loves ‘em all!

When he’s excited Larry may jump up occasionally but calms very quickly making him great around little people. He gently takes offered treats from children and adults, and waits patiently to be instructed to eat during meal times. Some of Larry’s other talents include sitting on command, waiting, staying, dropping, shaking hands and giving high fives – he’s a clever dude who loves to learn!

Larry behaves well on a lead and will remain close to whoever is walking him. He is housetrained and, given that Staffies are happiest being with their humans, we’d like to see Larry’s indoor / outdoor lifestyle continued in his forever home. If left alone for a few hours, Larry happily naps in the sun with one of his fluffy toys.

As Larry was rescued from our local pound we don’t know much about his past, and he can appear nervous when travelling in a car so may need some encouragement jumping in and out of a vehicle. Larry can be a tad choosy when it comes to meeting other dogs hence why he’d be best suited to being an only dog. He has not been tested with cats.

In summing up, Larry is a super-affectionate boy who will steal many hearts (and laps!!) with his loving and friendly nature.
