About Rambo
Hi there, I'm beautiful Rambo and I arrived at the shelter as a lost boy and sadly my family didn't come and find me.
I'm happily hanging out with my new doggie friends while I wait for my new family to come and adopt me.
I'm a very friendly and happy boy who would love a home where I'm treated like a true family member and included in as many family activities as possible. A big daily walk, regular trips to the park or beach plus playtime in the backyard will make me a very happy boy.
As you can see by my photo I have a stunning coat which will require a regular brush to keep me looking my handsome best.
If you already have a doggie friend at home for me please bring them in to meet me so we can make sure we'll be the best of friends.
When I'm home alone I'd love a big backyard with secure fencing all around so I'm always safe at home and don't get lost again.
Being a working breed I have lots of energy so I'm not suited to just being left in a backyard for hours and hours on my own. I'd love an energetic family who'll make sure I have lots of exercise and mental stimulation.
I love my toys, especially balls so playing fetch in the backyard would be a fun way to spend some time with my family.
I can already sit on command and am very food motivated so learning more doggie manners with treat rewards should be a breeze.
I do have to tell you that I have a bit of a medical issue. You see, my patella (knee cap) on my left hind leg is a bit loose. However, the vet has determined that no surgery is required at this stage because I have no issues with walking or running but it may become an issue later in life. My new family should be aware that I may need this fixed in the future.
Well, I'm off to play now but I hope to see you soon.
Medical notes
Worn incisors
Grade 2/3 luxating patella - left hind. No surgery required at this stage
