Kendall

Kendall is a delicate yet energetic little dog who loves and lives life to the full. She is looking for an active family who want to make her part of their lives and take her with them on their daily adventures.

She would prefer a home where she is the only dog as she is quite fearful of meeting new dogs at the Shelter. Our behaviour team and animal attendants are working hard to help change how she feels about other dogs and we hope her family will continue to build her confidence around her own species.

Kendall is as smart as whip and will excel at training. She has learned how to walk on a leash and sit in her time here and the staff have also been teaching her some silly tricks to keep her mind active and engaged.

Kendall has shown some excitable behaviour in her kennel and some scratching and jumping when left alone. We have addressed this with lots of food and scent puzzles to keep her occupied. We know that a home environment where she gets plenty of TLC, walks and training will allow her to grow into the amazing girl we know she will be.

Ideally Kendall would like a family who will allow her inside/outside access, although her house manners may need some work! She'd love to keep you company while you work from home and will do best in a home where she is not left alone for extended periods of time.
