About Pancake
Pancake is absolutely divine- She genuinely has everything you could ever hope for in a companion animal. She is gentle, affectionate, smoochy, playful and an all round love bug.
Pancake came to us after she had been found abandoned, left in a sealed cardboard box in a local park. She was with another lovely female cat (Waffle, who has just found her forever home), and both appeared to have only recently had kittens. Sadly, their kittens were nowhere to be found.
Despite how terribly Pancake had been let down by those she trusted to care for her, she was instantly beautiful with us. How anyone could let go of such a stunning, nice-natured cat is really beyond us.
If you're looking for a cat that wants to be around you all the time, loves lounging and basking by the window, and who loves to snuggle up to you in bed or be picked up for a cuddle, Pancake is your girl. She's not quite ready to sit on your lap yet, but she really loves to be as close to you as possible.
Pancake will only be available to an indoor-only home. She loves being inside and as long as you provide an enriching environment with a cat tree or scratch post for her to climb, and some little toys to chase, she will be happy, healthy and safe inside. She has a pale pink nose, so she must be kept out of the sun due to the risk of cancer.
Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionist and cat adoption officer.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
