About Bear (Foster Carer Needed)
Bear is a beautiful loving dog who needs training and time to grow in a stable home environment.
He would love to have a doggie pal - but not essential - he's more than happy to love on his humans.
If living with another dog, it would be best if he lived with one more his size as he LOVES to wrestle and tumble about with his playmates.
The same would need to apply to living with small children, he still needs to undergo more training in his new home. Precaution will need to be taken if he were to live with a small child, while he is learning boundaries.
He currently lives with an older cat and is not bothered with him at all. He may chase if pursued to play or teased..but he generally is very good.
He has had a rough beginning in life and this has caused him to develop a bit of separation anxiety. So he will need his training to be furthered with his new family and he is currently crate training to help with his anxiety. Bear can take some time to trust males because of this, so lots of treats, compassion and patience for the men of the home.
Bear would thrive going to Dog Obedience classes - he's quick to learn and just wants to please. He needs a family who will guide him through his puppy/teen phase, and help him trust humans again.
This boy gives so much unconditional love and deserves this in return!
