About Rusty ~ 2 yo Staffy X (staying with owners)
This super-friendly boy is Rusty! He is a 2yo, beautifully natured, people loving Staffy x. Rusty loves nothing better than hanging out with his family and he loves children, although he is better suited to slightly older kids (over six) unless they are used to dogs, as he can get a little over excited and knock little ones over. He is happy going for walks, but also loves to be lazy!
Rusty is a good boy, house trained, knows basic commands including, sit, stay, down, no and come. He has also been trained to not to be defensive around food. Rusty would be a great addition to any family looking for a loyal and fun companion.
Rusty can be a little nervous around new dogs but could be introduced to another dog his size. He's not so keen on those little dogs though. Ideally, Rusty would be great as the main man in a one-dog family.
Rusty was adopted from DRN originally at 5 months old but due to a change in living situation his owner has no choice but to find him another family. This decision was hard and not taken lightly. Dog Rescue Newcastle are helping his owners find him a new home.
If you are interested in providing Rusty a new loving home, please contact Jenn by email jenncaine@gmail.com or fill in an application at https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Rusty's adoption fee is $350 which includes desexing, vaccination, microchipping and treatment for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
