About Dusty DL2290
Dusty is a smart young boy who loves soaking up the sun and getting lots of belly rubs. His favourite toy is a fluffy Easter Bunny and he likes playing fetch.
An energetic pup, Dusty would like a place with a big secure yard to play in and plenty of mental & physical stimulation to keep him busy. Toys, activities, games, adventures, and training will help to put his brain and body to work.
He is food driven and a fast learner; he can sit, stay, shake, drop, and come when called. He has the intelligence to learn even more tricks and will do almost anything for a treat!
Dusty adores people and loves to cuddle, but has manners to learn. As he can still nip and mouth when excited, he'll suit an adult only home, with an experienced and confident owner who'll put in the effort to continue his training. He has already made great progress in foster care, so his new owner will need to keep up the good work.
Dusty loves going out to the park for a run, however he does need continued socialisation training to learn his manners around other dogs. At home, he is best suited to being your one & only, and hasn't been tested with cats.
He walks well on the lead without distractions, though is still getting the hang of passing other people and dogs and bikes/motorbikes; he can usually be distracted with treats, but will need more practice. With some one-on-one attention, Dusty will truly thrive in his new home.
You can't go past those cute, pointy ears and Dusty's playful puppy nature! If you'd love to work with Dusty, we'd love to hear from you. Email DFL today to apply.
Medical notes
Dusty has a lump on his face that may come and go. Vet has found it is benign and not a concern as long as Dusty isn't bothered by it.
