About Waffle
Waffle is absolutely divine- She genuinely has everything you could ever hope for in a companion animal. She is gentle, affectionate, smoochy, cuddly, super playful and still a kitten- only 10 months old herself.
Waffle came to us after she had been found abandoned, left in a sealed cardboard box in a local park. She was with another lovely female cat (Pancake, also up for adoption), and both appeared to have only recently had kittens. Sadly, their kittens were nowhere to be found.
Despite how terribly Waffle had been let down by those she trusted to care for her, she was instantly beautiful with us. How anyone could let go of such a stunning, nice-natured cat is really beyond us. Waffle is truly one in a million. She also took on a tiny orphaned kitten and loved him and cared for him as though he were her own.
If you're looking for a cat that wants to be around you all the time, loves to keep herself occupied playing with toys and chasing her little mouse around, and who loves to snuggle up to you in bed or be picked up for a cuddle, Waffle is your girl. Apart from her amazing personality, she is also a tiny little lady, and she's ridiculously cute. She weighs just 3kg, and is very kitten-like in appearance.
Waffle will only be available to an indoor-only home. She loves being inside and as log s you provide an enriching environment with a cat tree or scratch post for her to climb, and some little toys to chase, she will be happy, healthy and safe inside.
Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionist and cat adoption officer.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
