About Archie 🦒
This sweet, loving little man is Archie....he's just 18mths old and although he has been let down by humans previously, his trust in people since arriving in care, is nothing short of remarkable.
Archie is currently being fostered on a property with 3 other small dogs, 2 cats, a goat (who also thinks he's a dog), chickens, horses and of course his beautiful foster family which includes an older child. He has bonded closely with his main carer in the home but loves spending time with everyone. He is not your typical yappy dog, but does bark on occasion when excited and playing with the other dogs. Archie is house trained and very food motivated, so if you have something to eat, he will want to share lol
You will not find a more loving and loyal little soul. He will be your best friend, your companion and definitely your shadow. Once you gain Archie's trust, he will follow you everywhere. He enjoys his pats and loves to sit with you on the lounge, but not overly keen about being carried around, however he will allow it. There really isn't an aggressive bone in this little boys body. We probably should mention here that he would really really like to sleep in the bed with you too!
Archie wants to ride in the car, but still a little nervous, so would need regular short trips to build up his confidence. He enjoys watching the world go by through the window....He is getting much better at walking on lead, but again he is a little nervous when in public and not overly keen on strange dogs approaching him. Within his foster home though, he enjoys playing with the other animals and not overly phased by the cats. His favourite game is chase and loves it when he's the chaser, so if the cats were to run, he thinks it means 'game on'! Not that he would harm them in any way....He has been known to chase birds on occasion, but will listen when told 'no'. If you have a rat problem, Archie will find the nest!
During his time in care, Archie has been exposed to young children and is beautiful with them, but they will need to be respectful of animals. He absolutely thrives on company from his humans and doesn't enjoy being left on his own. He is most certainly a companion dog, so the perfect home for this boy would be with someone who is either retired or works from home. He does love his little furry friends, so another little dog in his forever home would be perfect, but not a deal breaker. Archie loves spending time both inside and outside so a small to medium size yard would be perfect for this little man.
Archie has had all his vet work done and now ready to find that special place to call home. He is located in Wamberal on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
