About Duncan
WE HAVE RECEIVED DOZENS of Applications....
How do we decide???
Please write as much about yourself and what you can do for Duncan.
He needs to find his home, but we are finding it hard to pick.
Duncan is a 6 month old Groodle.
He was recently desexed a few days ago and we are treating him with two ear infections.
He has come from a BYB and was covered in ticks and a belly full of worms.
We have treated all of the issues he had.
He is a little timid when he first meets you.
He is great with other dogs and children.
We haven’t tested him with cats.
He is quite a couch potato when he wants to be, and that’s a lot.
But still is naughty like a puppy.
Very much into chewing everything.
Loves his squeaky toys.
Toilet trained.
Would benefit with another dog, or if a only dog, needs company.
Still learning to walk on a leash.
He has more traits of a golden retriever, so far.
This boy will make a great companion for a family or individual that will put the time and love into him.
Adoption details
We shortlist families who will fit the dogs needs and contact them to arrange an introduction. If everything works well, after a timeout to be sure, an adoption agreement is completed. As the adoption donation is transferred the dog will pass into your hands.
Our Adoption Donation Fees vary. Elderly animals or animals with health problems can differ from those for young or purebred dogs.
All our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. They are bathed and groomed, and have had a consultation with our vet who discusses appropriate treatment which we arrange while the dog is in our care. All dogs are desexed at our expense.
We understand that in the first week, issues occasionally occur where training or behaviour modification is impractical and if no other recourse is available and the dog needs to be rehomed, we will agree to refund part of the adoption fee less $100 administration fee. Due to our system processes this will not be instantaneous but will go into your bank account within the next 10 working days.
After the sixth day, we require first refusal if the dog is to be found a different home, but you will not be eligible for a refund.
