Rocky

Hi there, I'm Rocky and I'm hoping you'll be my new family. Let me tell you a bit about myself.

I'm a boy who LOVES people and want a family who'll treat me like a true family member and allow me to hang out with them inside as much as possible.
I'd love a big daily walk, regular trips to the park or beach and playtime in the backyard.

I can already sit and shake hands and I'm sure with your help I'll learn some more doggie manners so I can be the best boy ever.

I do have to be honest and tell you that I can be a bit erratic on the lead but that's just because I haven't had a lot of experience. Going on regular walks should help me learn to casually stroll along and enjoy my walks.

I've been in a home with a female dog and I liked her a bit too much (if you know what I mean) even though I'm desexed. She didn't particularly like the attention and got grumpy at me so I got grumpy back at her. However, I do get to spend my whole day with a female dog at the shelter and I leave her alone (maybe I'm just not attracted to her) Due to this a meet and greet with any other family dog is an absolute must to make sure I'll be ok with them.

I also tend to be a bit rough with kids so I can't go to a home with small children as I don't want to scare them. Bigger kids who'll play with me may be ok though.

If I'm not hanging out with my family and do need to be left home alone, I'd be happy in a backyard with secure fencing so I'm always safe from harm.
