Sage

Sage is such a gentle girl, and she's ready to meet her new family!

About Sage? She's about three years old, a Shar Pei mix, female with a
warm, friendly personality.

She is absolutely silent. Not a bark, not a whine. She is obedient -
she can sit on command and heel on a lead - usually, even when there
are distractions around (except brush turkeys - she really wants to
chase a brush turkey one day). She's working on laying down and
staying. She's been taught to shake a paw and roll over!

She has not messed in the house. She has not dug a hole. She has not
jumped our 1.2-metre fences. She follows me around dutifully. She
takes treats gently. She has no trouble letting her toes, teeth, ears
, and eyes be handled. She is interested but not bothered by kids. She
is interested in but not aggressive towards the cats. She asks
permission before climbing onto the couch. She has no problem
interacting with men, or strangers, or riding in the car but she can
be a bit shy around traffic - particularly around large trucks.

More than anything, Sage LOVES to be cuddled. She would do anything
for you to scratch her face and tummy and she's not shy about letting
you know when she wants more. After a long walk, she loves a drink and
a good nap.

Sage is the real deal.
