About Dobermann 1821192025
This young man is in need of a loving home with a retired Dobermann lover.
This boy is only 2 yrs old and has been so loving through his ordeal, and we want to see this young man blossom in a home with plenty of room to run.
He has no experience with young children he must supervise around <10 yrs old children and those without large breed experience due to his size. Continued training is a must for this boy.
He doesn't have a prey drive and would only be adopted to a house with no cats.
Not really interested in the sheep or other livestock animals.
He is an outside/inside boy, while fine outside he would need to be inside his crate/bed inside at night until he finds his feet in the routine set by NHFD and the new family, this is a process we install in new homes.
He is available to interstate adoptions.
His diet is a raw food diet only with a small amount of dry food (meals for mutts or frontier pets only - NHFD prerequisite).
This boy needs a strong female handler or retired couple who have large breed experience;
He rides well in the car, and is a complete velcro dog, has limited experience with dogs of other breeds, but loves other Dobermanns.
He has plenty of energy and loves to interact with his people, he's been through obedience training but does need to continue it for life, and it would be best for him to be on a large property to spread his legs and not to be confined to a backyard.
We would prefer he go to Dobermann experienced people who are pack structure leadership orientated.
He does better with people who are gentle with firm boundaries and structure. He can be demanding of pats and has puppy-like responses to scenarios he does not understand.
We would really like to hear from people who have no pets and who can saturate this boy with continuing his training.

Adoption details
We always correspond with an adoption form first, which requires pictures of the homes fences, and areas the dog will be contained.
We follow up with a phone call, to discuss your application and build a relationship with you so we get to know your needs and that of the Dobermann we may have in mind for your situation.
We will do a home check before we approve the adoption and a second phone call/facetime to finalize any outstanding question you or we may have.
We will ask for your vet's name and contact details as a reference.
Once we approve the adoption, the fee is paid, and we generate the paperwork in compliance with local councils and registration pertinent to each state where the approved home is.
