Barron

This handsome man is Barron.

He has had a really rough go at life until he landed in foster care that is!

We met Barron after he had been hit by a car and handed into the vet as a stray. The car accident had left him in a fair bit of pain and he did his “ impound time” at the vet clinic instead of the pound.

This is where everyone who met him fell in love. He’s very much in to love and head bops!

Barron was clearly showing signs of pain in the pelvic area he was an adult entire male tabby with no chip and he had ringworm right at the start of peek kitten season , things were not looking good for him once his pound time ended he had no one wanting to save him and was to be euthanised.

Lucky for Barron the staff at the vet who had been caring for him called and asked us to save him. After running some tests to determine exactly we were agreeing to take on we found a carer ( who’s done an amazing job thankyou Sue! ) and brought him into care.

Blood tests showed he is FIV negative 😀
Xrays showed - crack in femoral head, crack in pelvis and displayed vertebrae in spine. All in line and no surgery required ( what a relief!)
Also ringworm !

Now 6 weeks later Barron is walking like a champ! He is ringworm free ! He’s been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. He’s been wormed and had his follow up vet checks all confirming he’s ready to find a forever family!
