Hello my name is Gemma

I have been in care since I was a 8 week old pup.
I’ve been here so long as I was one of the worst cases of timid/fearful dogs the rescue has ever seen.
I didn’t like humans touching me and I would run and hide any chance I got.

Since being in foster care with a few carers I’m now a different dog.
I’ve learnt to trust humans again, and I’ve learnt that a humans touch is only with love and not to be feared of.

I absolutely love company of other dogs so I would love a home with other dogs to company and to play with.
I’m great around children as I don’t jump so I won’t knock them over.
I like to bark at the cats and play chase but would never hurt one it’s just fun to do so.

Ideal home.......
So the perfect home for me is one where the humans are confident around dogs and who will take me to puppy training to gain better skills. I’ve attended puppy school since being in care and I know walk well on lead and know basic commands.
My new owners need to understand I will have my moments where i will show some timidness but it’s something I do when I met new people and in new surroundings.
I need a large fully fenced yard and outside under cover shelter.
A property isn’t suitable for me while I’m still learning.

I have been crate trained at night as slept with puppies in one of my foster homes.
I’m also inside toilet trained as long as I have access to get outside.
