About Whiskey ~ Kelpie X Cattle Dog (on trial 3/11/19)
Hi my name is Whiskey and I am a Kelpie x Cattle girl. I’m medium size dog (on the smaller size) and I am almost 3 years old. In my past life wasn't the best so it takes a little bit for me trust humans but once I trust you I’m 100 percent committed. I was recently adopted but due to my current owners circumstance and change I’m looking for my forever home, I know I will be dearly missed but I understand she is doing the right thing privately surrendering me
I'm a very loving and affectionate dog. I do currently sleep either inside or outside depending on the weather. I am house trained so there are no problems with that.
I'm a very energetic dog when there's a ball involved or any toys that squeak. Other than that, I love to lay in the sun and just relax.
I am a very gentle and loving dog once you get to know me. I do however tend to jump when you first meet me that only last for a few seconds but I do sit when told to and I behave myself when reminded. I am also very gentle with hand feeding and I do bring the ball back if you throw. I’m a non digger or a barker and don’t jump fences, I love going for drives the car to the dog park and beach - I don’t like swimming though.
I like other dogs but I don’t like them in my face. I do love humans though. I travel well in the car. I love daily exercise such as a walk or ball throwing, I can play for hours with that ball and will bring back to you, my recall isn’t too bad. With the ball, if you pick the ball up and you are too slow, I will try and take it out of your hand, I won’t hurt you, but I want you to hurry up and through the ball.
