Hi people, I'm Tara. I was rescued from Mackay pound, after no-one came to pick me up. I am settling into life in my foster home with my two foster brothers, they reckon I'm annoying sometimes, but I only want to play! One of them tells me off sometimes, but my foster mum says this is because I need to learn some boundaries.
It's been a big week, I have met lots of friendly new people, learnt to walk on the lead, and am doing this thing called 'crate training'.
My foster mum thinks my temperament is quite true to my breed (even if i'm a x). I'm a good guard dog, I do have prey drive (like to chase), so you need to know that I'm not a dog park kinda dog, but I would thrive with a family who would like to continue my training, and walk me daily. I would probably do best with an older dog who can help teach me some basic manners ie; dont chew your foster bro's ear off in play etc.
I'm a sweet girl, and would hope that my new home will be equally as loving, as they are firm with boundaries so I can continue grow up to be a level headed dog, as I get out and see more of the world.
