About Lacey
Naaawwww.... this little lady melts our hearts! I'm Kelly, a SAFE photographer & profiler. I have to speak for Miss Lacey as she is incredibly shy & not very talkative.
Lacey is a young pup who was found with 3 pups of her own, who have since gone to new homes. Lacey will need a really special human friend as she is timid when faced with new surrounds, new smells, new sounds, & new people. She has the most beautiful little face with big brown eyes that are full of hope & love. Lacey has ginger/white fur, fur SO soft on her head, an expressive tail & eyes that tell a thousand stories. She just wants to find some kind, gentle, mellow humans to become her whole world & get this tail of hers wagging!
When I first met Lacey, she had her tail right up under her legs. After a few treats she quickly warmed to me & I even got 3 cuddles & 2 very (special) light lick kisses. Lacey has trust issues & it will take a calm human who is willing to be patient & give her time & unconditional love. Lacey has a lot of love to give, she just needs continuity & stability & a steady stream of TLC. Once she gets to know you, she comes to you & is very affectionate & cuddly.
Currently fostered with an exceptional caring, kind & gentle couple - Lacey does not like change but she has blossomed under their careful, quiet care. In the mornings especially, she is full of beans & zips around the house & yard in a really playful, energetic manner.
She is always super excited when her human foster parents get home from work - it never gets old for Lacey. Her favourite food is roast chicken but she is food orientated so any doggie food & treats will be just divine.
Lacey is on the smallish/medium size side & her frame is almost like that of a whippet. She has the cowlick fur on her bottom & sits with her paws crossed like a kelpie. She has some red heeler patches on her paws.
Lacey has a beautiful mellow temperament but she can also be excited & playful. She is VERY loving - she especially loves her ears being rubbed. She is house trained & already knows how to ""sit"". She won't make a very good alarm dog as no-one has heard her bark yet - it's just the shy, retiring, calm & peaceful life for Lady Lacey now.
She is young so she has a lot of play left in her. She hides from new experiences & it will be a special someone who can help her find her way & start to trust again.
We all see Lacey in a cosy quiet home, with land to be free to run around on, stretching out those gorgeous long legs & a powder blue diamonte collar, please!! Flamboyant, adrenalin junkie, nudists need NOT apply - this would be too much for our Lady Lacey! She so DESERVES to find ""The One"" for her. Could it be you?
