Yogi

Hi friends, this is Yogi!

Yogi is a very sweet and quirky little fellow who loves his people, loves attention and loves to be doing whatever you are doing. Unfortunately Yogi has lost an eye, but this doesn’t slow him down at all and gives him some distinction.

Yogi has the true Chihuahua devotion, and will want to be with you as much as possible and show his affection. He loves to cuddle on the lounge and will happily sleep on your lap for hours. Yogi must be an inside dog with access to the yard. He sleeps with his other dog friends in his current home, but we think he would love to sleep in your bedroom if you let him. He is toilet-trained.

Yogi walks beautifully on the lead, walking loose lead at your side giving you his attention. He loves his squeaky, fluffy toys and enjoys a game of fetch. He can get a little over excited when he plays so very young children may not be best.

Yogi is great with other dogs big and small, he is currently staying with a Pug and a Greyhound X, and gets along well with both. He is happy to hang out with his dog friends when you go out and is always extremely happy when his humans come home.

He is inexperienced with cats and would be better in a cat free household – can’t have his one good eye getting hurt! He has always lived with other dogs, so he would do better in a household with another dog friend to hang out with and to keep him company when you go out.

Yogi is a little unsure of himself in the car, but is slowly getting better with each trip he makes.

He will make the perfect companion for someone who is looking for a dog that loves to be around them, and to be involved with whatever they are doing, whether that be cooking dinner, or doing the gardening – Yogi will want to help.

Yogi is ready for adoption now, so come and meet him!

YOGI IS NOT APPROVED FOR APARTMENT LIVING OR FOR HOMES WHERE HE IS LEFT ALONE FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME UNLESS WITH ANOTHER DOG.
