About Spike
⭐️🐕⭐️ ATTN NSW/ACT: Spike is in search of his forever home ⭐️🐕⭐️
Spike has decided that although he likes other dogs outside of his home, and gets on well with them, he doesn’t play nicely with them in his domain, therefore he requires to be re-homed him as an ONLY pet.🐕
About Spike (please read carefully):
▪️ AGE: 4 ½ years old
▪️ BREED: Pug cross
▪️ LOCATION: Sydney
▪️ KIDS: Gets own well and adores them
▪️ CATS: Untested
▪️ ONGOING TREATMENT: Spike will need to be on anti anxiety medication for up to 6 months then under the supervision of our vets or yours, he will be weaned off. This medication is giving Spike a chance to change his behaviour, by giving him a break from his anxiety and as a result his aggression towards other dogs in his home. While Spike has just started this medication we have already seen changes in his behaviour which is really wonderful for him.
✅ IDEAL HOME: This beautiful gentle boy absolutely loves being with kids and with human companionship throughout the day - so someone who works from home, or is retired, or a stay at home parent. NO other dogs in the home. Spike MUST be an only dog. Spike does not like to be left alone and can show signs of anxiety so someone being at home often is an absolute must, and in return Spike will reward you with plenty of love and cuddles.💖
Spike is actually one of the most beautiful and lovable rescues the NSW/ACT team has had. He loves his belly rubs and will lay on his back till someone starts rubbing his belly 😀
We know there is a loving and dedicated family out there that would be perfect for Spike, so if you believe you are able to provide him with the loving home that he deserves, we would love to hear from you.
You can submit an application via the link below, providing as much information as you can:
