About Leo ~ Pomeranian (on trial 27/10/19)
Leo is a 10 year old Pomeranian that sadly had to be surrendered by his owners as their health and age meant they are no longer able to give him the care and attention he needs.
Even though he is 10 years old he has plenty of energy and enthusiasm. Leo has really enjoyed the company of his foster sister and brother but does not need to have dog company all the time. Because Leo has come from a home where he was the only dog he is happy to just do his own thing and will provide excellent company to someone who wants a little pal. He has the sweetest little face and is just desperate to move in to the next phase of his life. Don’t be put off by his age he is not an ‘old’ dog.
Leo doesn’t bark which is unusual for this breed and he has no interest in trying to escape. He would be happy as an inside or outside dog as long as he has a nice sheltered area to sleep.
One of Leo’s favourite things to do is go for a walk. As soon as he sees that you have the lead he sits patiently and waits for you to be ready and then is dreamy to walk. Leo isn’t bothered by other dogs when he is walking he is just happy to be out and about exploring his neighbourhood.
Leo loves his food and isn’t fussy – he won’t do tricks for his food though!
Leo is looking forward to becoming a loyal and loving little companion to someone that wants a low maintenance and sweet little dog.
