Hi Fwends!
My names is Fergus and I is looking for a foster family to helps teaches me to be a home pets like the rests of my greyhound fwends have done before me!
I has been in the TAFE SA Gilles Plains/BTG Foster Program where I helped to teaches the students how to handle doggies, and how to feed and cares for us. We had great fun and I helps them learn to bandage feet and legs and tails and all bits and pieces. I helped them learn to walk nicely with us greyhounds.
Ya know hoomans are funny critters, they only gots 2 legs, but sure do needs a lot of training so that's what I was fur, to helps trains them. I think I did a greyt job! But now I am readys for my foster home or foster to adopt homes so they can teach me all types of cool things in a homes.
I am great with other dogs big and small. I am not cat tolerant....sorry they are too intersting!
I havent lived with kids, but am very patient and have been around kids in my racing career. I am a gentles kinda guy, big, but gentles. oh and I has to warns ya....I is a snuggle bunny! I love huggles and cuddles.
I walks nicely on leads and wouldn't mind having a doggy playmate. I am a laid back kinda dude, so nothing that has too much ambitions would maybe be nice.
I might be ok on my own, maybe only for short periods cuz I loves people and loves watching you do your hooman stuffs. I will happily help you!
The BTG fwends says I gots to tell you bouts my hock injury, which is fine now, but I don't think a fast paced lifestyle is fors me anymore. so someone who just wants to take a nice slow leisurley walk for about 15-20 mins would be fine. Too much running will aggravates it and I don't really wants that.
I would love a home with anyone, old or young...couch potatoes would be greyt!
OR, OR, if you are looking for a cool dude like me, you could foster to adopt me! yeah thats an idears! I could help teach you to walk me nicely on lead, if you teach me how's to be your family members. but I is sure I can do that, PAWS DOWN!
