Oreo

Oreo is a sweetheart with so much love to give his humans. He came into SAFE's care after being surrendered due to no fault of his own. He was previously homed with a dominant sibling where he was sometimes picked on and unable to relax as much as he should have been able to. Now he has been separated, Oreo is a different boy. He still has a shy nature and will need a quiet, understanding and patient home where he will be able to open up and learn to trust his new surrounds. A quiet family would be best as Oreo frets and is very unsure when around large amounts of people so a child free home would be best for him. When comfortable, Oreo is a different boy who loves to run, play and snuggle on his humans laps and he is also great as a scarf! (pictured). He loves finding his comfy spots around the house and loves playing with his small furry foster brother who he has bonded beautifully with. Oreo would suit a family with another small companion who he can learn from and get his confidence and exercise from. Oreo is a clever boy already having mastered how to use the doggy door and has made himself right at home. A secure yard is a must as he is only little in size. He is a great little guard dog and has a good bark on him. Training would be helpful to encourage his personality to continue blossoming and becoming more confident and a family willing to work with Oreo is a must. This will all pay off as this little guy is oh so special and will be very loyal to the right home.
