Hiya!! My name's Ilaria but you can call me Illy. ""Illy with legs like a Filly""! I'm told I have sleek, supermodel good looks with legs that go on forever. My paws are quite big so I have a bit of growing to do & I am such a happy, energetic pup - feeling so wonderful to be alive & well & looking for my new permanent home.

My human foster parents have fallen completely in love with me in a short space of time.... despite the fact I have chewed my bed & some of their retic!! Whoops. I am told that I am clever & I am definitely a fast learner. Am already understanding what ""No"" means & have VERY quickly learned to sit & ly down. Just look into my beautiful, sweet, shiny brown eyes - so full of hope & I have so much love to give. How can you not forgive this face?

I am house trained & I love the great outdoors - my foster home has THE best grassed area out the back & I love to run & jump & roll around on it.

I am a bit wary of cars but I can travel okay in one. It's worth it to get to the beach or the park - I love galloping up & down on the beach. Fresh air & sunshine gets me pretty excited.

I ADORE company but am also good when left alone. I am desperate to please. I am food orientated, a bit thin when I first came to my human foster parents but I have started gaining weight & growing in to these ridiculously long legs! I do tend to jump up to friendly greet new humans but I am quickly learning that this is not ideal even though I am always very gentle.

I can be quite hilarious as I bound around with my gangly legs & I love to roll around on the floor, belly up & my tongue hanging out. Bliss. Happiness on the inside DEFINITELY shines out with me.

I am excited about the future, as Marilyn Monroe once said....""I am good, but not an angel. I do sin, but I am not the devil. I am just a small girl in a big World trying to find someone to love"".

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
