The magnificent Viking is truly a wonderful and adoring boy
Still such a young boy but so well mannered with a wonderful temperament
As you can see by the variety of pictures and locations he has been , we have taken him on so many outings and he has been a dream
So Viking has been with me for about a month now
I have found him a kind and thoughtful boy who has fitted in very well with our family
Viking is happy to play with all of the dogs I have had him with from a small puppy to a large bull arab
These have all been females and I have not had him off lead with a male but could not foresee an issue
He likes to play hard with the bigger girls and wrestle and rumble around
As Viking is not a tall dog but built like a tank this can get pretty rough but all fun nothing aggressive
If there is another dog in the residence already we would be seeking a similar size girl that loves to play as well to ensure they are a good match .
Viking is not an over active boy and once he has had a good run and play he is very happy to chill out for the rest of the day.
Viking loves to go for walks out into the big world and I have taken him on numerous trips in which he absolutely loves
Traffic , trucks buses trams bikes etc do not faze him at all
He loves the car and will self load and sit very calmly and quietly during the trip
Viking is not a barker and not a sook. He is fine to be by himself or with others without humans for lengthy times and has not complained
I have not found him to be destructive at all
Viking is fine around horses , cats and I have walked him around chickens ( these were fenced off ) and he showed no interest at all.
Viking walk well on the lead and he will sit and drop and loves to shake paws as well
His recall still needs a bit of work as he is still getting used to his name ( we have no idea what it was prior to him coming in )
Viking is a water lover and as long as he can tough the bottom he is happy to play and splash about in the water on warm , cold and hot days
Viking seems to only have one major flaw that being he can jump a wooden fence that has the horizontal pieces supporting it. He uses these to scale over. This being the case we are seeking a home that has fencing the is secure enough to keep him safe
Colour bond would be ideal as these fences do not have the horizontal support so he would have nothing to scale
In the 4 weeks he has been with me I have pretty much thrown everything i have had at him and he has done so very very well
Viking is a care free chilled and all round amazing dog who will make a wonderful family dog .
I feel the fence jumping issue will dissipate once he is settled and feels love in his new home as he has not attempted to leave here
