Mavi

How could you not fall in love with Mavi? This pup is seriously one of a kind and while in care has gained the reputation of being “The best puppy ever!”.

This girl is just the sweetest and is just happy all the time. She is a big sook and loves a good cuddle but also loves to do her own thing and play with her toys or play with the other dogs she has been in care with.

Mavi is an extremely intelligent puppy and is doing so well with her toilet training for a pup of her age. She will cry during the night to let her carer know she needs to go outside and then will take herself back to bed. Of course her new owners should be prepared for the odd accident as she is still very young.

Leash training has been a breeze and she is learning basic commands such as sit and wait. Her new owner should be committed to enrolling in puppy school to further her education, socialisation and help further the bond between owner and pup.

Since coming into care her confidence is growing everyday but she can take a few minutes to warm up in new situations and can get a bit overwhelmed in loud situations, but loves to meet new people and is very playful with the other dogs she has met. Due to this her new owners will need to introduce her to new places and people to ensure her confidence continues to grow.

Mavi will be a medium to high energy dog and will need both mental and physical stimulation to keep her fulfilled. Being so young Mavi should be able to be incorporated to a house with cats as long as proper introductions are done. She is fantastic with kids, however potential adopters need to be aware of sharp puppy teeth!

Mavi will need a family who is going to really incorporate her into their lives as she is such a loving and social puppy. We are looking for a family who either have another friendly, playful dog at home or a family who are home more often than not, as she is too young to be left at home alone during work hours. She will need a warm, comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
