About Ginger
NOTES: NOT Small Dog or Cat Tolerant. Untested with Children
Hello, my name is Ginger and I’m a beautiful fawn greyhound. I really like people and am always gentle and friendly, especially if you give me pats. I love nothing more than to be close to my human friends and will happily sleep nearby while you do whatever you’re doing.
I walk well on a leash, but I do need a muzzle because I haven’t achieved my ME Test yet but that hopefully won't stop me from finding my new family.
I'm not very good with small dogs or other animals much and prefer not to socialise or play with them.
I haven’t had much experience with small children, and because I am just a little bit nervous naturally, I am not sure how I would cope. Maybe older kids might be ok? I would be happy to meet and see what you think of me!
At times I can get very scared, especially if you raise your voice. Sometimes I get confused with instructions and if you’re not patient I might get too frightened to understand what you mean.
I need a gentle and patient owner who keeps a regular routine so I can always succeed with my training goals. I’m properly house trained but like any dog I need regular toilet times.
I have been recently vet-checked, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms. I am also de-sexed and microchipped.
I am a beautiful little girl who is looking for a new forever home as the other dog I live with doesn't seem to like me around much.
Are you looking for a special girl like me?
If so please contact BTG so they can put you in contact with my family.
They want to make sure I get the most perfect home and will happily talk to you all about me.
I can't wait to meet you.
Luv woofs and kisses,
Ginger
Medical notes
Has anxiety - scared of loud voices or noises. Unsure of strange places
Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
