Sunhine is looking for her forever home. Please read her profile carefully.

Sunshine is a gorgeous 12 month old border collie, she has come into care as a very anxious dog, that was scared of everything. Within the last two months she has come out of her shell, but she will need her new home to be committed to continue working with her to become more confident. At this stage, Sunshine is still scared of most men and would either be best suited to a female only home or a very slow and gentle introduction to males.

Sunhine is great with other dogs and cats. She loves her furry foster sister who has helped her lots to trust her humans and try new things, therefore she will only be adopted out to a home with another confident and social dog.

Sunhine loves two things most, her absolute favourite activity is chasing the ball. If we let her, she would do it all day. 

She also loves to go for local walks (she is still scared in the car) and will need a person who understands the exercise needs of a working dog breed.

Sunshine is doing well with her house training, but can still have the occasional accident. She is good in the crate or on her dog bed and sleeps through the night.

This little girl is the sweetest and has come a long way from when she first came into care, but she is still scared of lots of things, she can tend to bark and charge at things out of fear. Therefore she needs a very special person who is experienced, gentle and understanding and committed to further training and socialising her.
