About Bertie ~ Labrador X Mastiff (on trial 24/11/19)
Bertie is a sweet, happy Labrador X Mastiff boy who might just be the dog you’re looking for to complete your family!
Bertie can’t wait for a family to find him who want to include him as part of their lives and show him the love he deserves. Bertie is just a year and a half old and eager to please, making him easily trainable. He would love to be able to take a walk with you each day and travels well in the car too, sitting calmly.
Bertie is currently an outdoors only dog but in his forever home he would love to be allowed inside - at least to sleep at night - but hopefully his new family would let him spend time with them inside too as Bertie loves nothing more than to sit down in your lap for a cuddle. He is kid friendly although due to his medium size and goofy nature it is recommended that Bertie would be best suited to children over 10 years old in his new family.
Now that’s the family part, let’s talk about other animals! Bertie LOVES other dogs! He can be excitable but is completely submissive even in the company of new doggy friends. Bertie has always lived with another dog so he would think it’s awesome to be adopted to a family where he has another dog for company and to show him the ropes! Bertie has never come across a cat so it’s unknown how he would react.
So now that you know a little bit about Bertie, could you be his forever family? If you would like to apply to meet Bertie please complete the adoption questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt or email Bec at 77beccaboo@gmail.com for more information.
Bertie's adoption fee is $250 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
