Sabrina

Sabrina is the cutest, tiniest and sweetest (once she knows you) Chihuahua you will ever have the chance to meet.

Our Behavior Team have worked very hard to build up Sabrina's confidence because life can be scary when you are a tiny 1.8kg dog! She barks at strangers and does take time to warm up but she is very smart and has now learned a framework for interacting with strangers and making them her friends.

Sabrina has never lived with another dog and is quite small and fragile. For this reason we would prefer that she be the only dog. Even friendly play with a 5kg dog could be enough to hurt her and it's possible that she has been jostled before in play because she will lift her lip at dogs that get too close to her. She does however, remain responsive to her handler and is easy to call away.

Sabrina's perfect home would be one that has a predictable routine with a guardian that loves positive reinforcement training. She *adores* training and we have had so much fun teaching her how to interact with toys, go to her mat or crate and stand up with tiny T-Rex paws.

She enjoys leash walks and just hanging with her favourite people.
