Juanita

Juanita is your typical young pom whilst she may be small even the energiser bunny would have trouble keeping up with her😉 She is loving, sweet, smart, energetic and above all sassy😊

Juanita has been in care with her foster carer for two months now as when she first came to us it was clear that she had just been left to do whatever she pleased in her previous home and had separation anxiety when left even for short periods even with other dogs. Her carer has put in a lot of work and has set her up with some boundaries which are working well in her foster home and whilst her training is and will be ongoing, her carer feels Juanita is now ready to start the search for her second-chance home.

Juanita loves her balls and all kinds of toys particularly puzzle toys that have food in them and which make her work her active brain😁. Whilst Juanita is on the go most of the time she does enjoy sitting with her carer of an evening as long as her toys are close by to play with and loves to cuddle on your lap.

She is very smart, hence why she will push the boundaries if allowed to😉 However being smart also makes her receptive to training and she now knows hi five and shake paw and is working hard on roll over.

She is currently living with a cat in her foster home and loves to play and cuddle with the cat who like Juanita is only young.

Basic needs for Juanita's new home:-

🐾 A home with a least one other small young dog that loves to play, play, play and then rest and play, play, play again.

🐾 A home with experienced dog owner/s committed to her ongoing training.

🐾 A very active home. She is currently being walked 45mins to an hour a day as well as a daily run at the local dog park and play time with her foster siblings.

🐾 A home where Juanita is not left alone for long periods. Juanita is able to be left for short periods if there is another dog or two for company.

🐾 A home where she will have access inside and out as she likes to come and go during the day on her busy schedule. Juanita loves to sleep on her foster carer's bed and her carer often wakes to find Juanita staring at her💞

🐾 A home with no young children as they tend to want to pull on her luscious fur and squeeze her

🐾 A home that is prepared to brush her fur several times a week and bath her regularly to keep her luscious coat in tip top shape.
