About Skittles
Hi I'm Skittles. I'm a 12 year old toy cross breed. I'm a gorgeous, happy and gentle soul with my foster carers, but I'm also nervous around other dogs because I was attacked and mauled by dogs last year. Due to this I am best suited as an only dog. I would also best suit a home with children over the age of 10 because I'm so small.
I do not look or act my age at all! I am a spritely, adventurous, happy go lucky little chap who loves nothing better than being by your side always. I have huge potential to be an extremely loving and devoted indoor companion dog. I also smile at you. My lips come up and I make a goofy face and want to lick you.
I happily live in foster care with cats/kittens and my big and little foster carers. I will fit into a gentle home with time, patience and understanding to adjust to a new environment and when settled I will give lots of love and cuddles.
I adore being with my humans and would like to be wherever you are. I absolutely love car rides and walks. At home I'm an inside boy and will happily lay in my bed or yours or the couch. In fact anywhere comfy. I'm toilet trained, but may have some accidents while I adjust to my new home. So please be patient with me.
Adoption details
All of our animals are placed into foster care in a family type environment, which allows them to be exposed to various environmental factors such as cats, dogs, children, visitors, noises etc.
All of our animals have a health assessment. They are desexed, microchipped, receive their 1st F4 vaccination or C4 vaccination and have parasite treatment prior to going to their new homes. Once ready for adoption we look to find our fosters the most suitable home environment depending on their personalities and needs.
