Lucy 🦋

Beautiful Lucy 💕 our 7 year old Retriever x Cattle girl, has so much love to give...she is currently in care with a 3 year old Lab (host dog), 2 cats and young children. She just adores everyone! She shows no interest in the cats, gets along great with the host dog and absolutely LOVES children. Her previous home also had young children and Lucy was fantastic with them too. She has such a loving and loyal nature and enjoys spending her days surrounded by people....she would take the pats and cuddles all day long!

She may be 7, but don't let her age fool you....she is a young girl at heart and loves being out and about with her family and playing fetch.

Lucy understands basic commands such as 'sit' and will wait patiently until given the go ahead to eat her dinner. She walks well on lead and is also great off lead. She has great recall and is very social and curious of other dogs, but not worried by them.

Her double coat will need regular brushing and grooming, but given the fact she loves being brushed, this will be an easy task to do!

Lucy arrived in care a little overweight, but with a strict diet and regular exercise, not to mention her love for a game of fetch, it won't take long for her to shed a few kilos.

We would love to see Lucy find a home where she had the company of another friendly medium size dog, but she would also cope well as an only dog if she had the company of her humans around. We intend on finding her a home where she gets the attention she deserves.

Due to her Breed and energy, she would not be suitable for a courtyard or townhouse. She will need a medium to large size yard with height appropriate fencing.

Lucy will be ready to head off to her forever home from the 17th October and is located in Woy Woy on the Central Coast NSW.
