About Havoc
Havoc will need:
- a home experienced with large arctic breed dogs
- a securely fenced yard of a reasonable size
- any children to be at least in their teens
- no cats, small dogs or pocket pets
- ongoing obedience training
If you meet Havoc's needs, then read on:
Woah! Want a whole lotta dog!
Havoc is a whole lotta fluff, a whole lotta spunk and a whole lotta Malamute! This stunning young man is looking for a new home that will take him on adventures, daily walks (as he’s got a little bit of winter pud, like the best of us!) and not let him charm you with his handsomeness into ruling the house.
He’s an easygoing fella that has lived with an arctic breed female dog before, but he’s no pushover and any potential canine housemate needs to a similar sized dog that is confident with him, but not bossy. Havoc has had some success with resource guarding, so any new family needs to be able to proactively manage and work on reducing this behaviour. Experience with a large, stubborn arctic breed dog is essential.
Havoc gets super excited when there is the potential for fun or new friends to meet, so needs to work on his self control and good manners. Weekly obedience classes will sharpen this skills in no time, while also improving his confidence.
Due to his size and lack of exposure to young children, Havoc needs to go to a home where any children are secondary school aged. He also isn’t a fan of cats, so he can't go to a home where there are small dogs or pets. He needs a large, secure yard, access to inside when his humans are home and a family that is committed to a balanced training approach.
So, are you ready for a big load of Havoc in your life?
