About Boo! *On Trial in His New Home*
*BOO IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Surrendered to us for rehousing, through no fault of his own, Boo is a cheerful and playful young dog. Some of the things he likes include: interacting with people of all shapes and sizes, rolling over for tummy rubs, bounding around the backyard, chasing birds and napping with his fur foster siblings. This friendly boy is affectionate and fun! He would be a loving addition to any household though would love a similar sized doggie friend for company if his humans were to be away at work for most of the day.
Boo is generally a quiet lad who you will often find chillaxing under the shade of a tree. When you first meet Boo, however, he may jump up in excitement as he sometimes forgets just how big he is, so a home with older children would suit him best. He also likes to offer people a welcoming face lick but can be easily redirected.
This social dog gets along great with others and would thrive having a canine buddy in his forever home. Even though he is quite a gentle boy, a potential fur brother or sister would need to be a medium to large sized breed as Boo tends to match the energy of his fellow canine companions. He currently joins his foster brother and sister to play for short stints and then happily passes the time relaxing alongside them. Please note that Boo has not been tested with cats.
Boo comes when called, sits on command, and being a bright boy, who is food motivated, would easily learn some new tricks – he loves to please his humans! If left alone for a few hours, Boo would benefit from being provided with a long lasting treat such as a Kong or bone. He does tend to scoff his food so a purpose-made bowl, or even a muffin tray, should slow him down. Boo travels safely in vehicles and climbs into a car willingly. He behaves appropriately on a lead, remaining close and alongside whoever is walking him. Boo would be best suited to a home where he can enjoy an indoor / outdoor lifestyle. A medium to large sized yard is also a must.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
