Eugene

Meet Eugene! Eugene came to the RSPCA through no fault of his own and is now looking for a new fur-ever home! Eugene has a quiet and gentle nature, and he absolutely adores spending time with people. He loves pats, naps, and enjoys giving people head bumps and smooches when he is comfortable. Eugene has previously lived with children and dogs, so could potentially live with a family with children or other pets in the future. Eugene has not had much experience with other cats, so at this time, we would recommend that he find a family with no other cats, or that he find a family that is committed to slow, controlled and correct introductions between Eugene and the resident cat. Eugene has previously lived as an indoor/outdoor cat, but as he is growing older, we recommend that he finds a family that is committed to transitioning him to an indoor only life, with secure access to the outdoors. Eugene will need some time to come out of his shell, but he is a real people cat so don't worry about his shy side for too long! Eugene is a lap cat and does love his cuddles, his soft and sensitive temperament will delight anyone who decides to take him home.
