About Boof
Let me guess – You sing in the car or shower – loudly and off key. Or you snore or you talk in your sleep. Maybe you are a blanket hog. Well that may make a lesser dog have second thoughts about coming to live with you and love you – but not me! That’s because my heart is enormous and my potential for devotion is practically bottomless.
Hi, I am Boof - an Irish Wolfhound x Cattle dog who would love to come and live with you! I was born on 23rd March, 2018, so I am now past that annoying puppy stage, but still young enough to learn the rules of your home and lots of new tricks!
Speaking of tricks .... I know that when you say "sit", then that is what I must do (if I am real lucky you might be hiding a treat somewhere there for me!). I would like to learn lots of new things (which may lead to more treats!). The gals here at CCACF have organised for me to have 3 free training lessons at Wyong Dog Training so that I can learn to please you more.
I'm an affectionate kinda guy and I love a cuddle. Because I love you so much, I will often sit on your feet, just to make sure you don't try to escape! I promise I am just so full of love to give.
I really like making new doggy friends and I will get along with everyone at the dog park - even the small ones! I like to be out for a walk....I am told that sometimes I can pull on my lead, but I think that is just my excitement to be out and about. I am really trying hard to get better at this and I am sure once we are living together, I will be even better.
I have had some testing done here at CCACF and guess what? I passed with flying colours! They say I show no signs of seperation anxiety or food aggression and because I am so brave, I am not scared of loud noises. But, I think it would be nice if I could come inside with you when there are thunderstorms and fireworks, just in case.
Boof is a such a happy and affectionate boy and an absolute delight and would make a super loyal companion for the right family. He is a stunning man who would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Boof will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
This incredibly beautiful young man will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Boof's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration and 3 x training lessons with thanks to Wyong Dog Training. Boof is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out our Expression of Interest Form here:
https://form.jotform.co/92231142675857
This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Alternatively, you are welcome to phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
