Adelheid is a little pocket rocket!

She is on the smaller side of a staffy, but don’t let her size fool you. She has a big personality, and is a real people dog.

Adelheid is an extremely affectionate girl and loves nothing more than to follow you around. Once you sit down, make sure there is room for her next to you, or she will make herself comfortable on your lap where she will expect cuddles. This is where she will stay.

Her favourite thing in the world is to go for daily walks. She really loves to wander and explore, so in her excitement she does pull on the lead. This can be easily fixed however, with some further training or a halti. If you’re a jogger, she will gladly go running with you.

Adelheid does understand basic commands, but when she is excited, she thinks that these commands are negotiable, so will benefit from ongoing training.

Adelheid is currently the only dog with her carer and is house trained. She does cope well during the day on her own. She has met older, calmer dogs and takes her cues from them. She does also have a playful side, but would keep an eye on her initially as although small, she is very strong. Ongoing socialisation will be very beneficial for her.

Adelheid is best suited to a home where she can get all the attention, so preferably where there are no small children.
