Hi there! Are you searching for the perfect family dog and a largish fashion accessory? Well look no further! Here I am! My name is Ben Ami, I was named by my foster parents after a lovely bottle of Merlot wine. As my gorgeous coloration is called "chocolate merle" it seemed quite fitting!

I adore young children and adults alike and am a superstar at giving kisses and hugs. I also adore dogs and I need to have a doggy friend to keep me company, but no cats please.

I'm a big boy with a BIG heart! I love to bark loudly when I play, want something or just for attention, so I'll need a confident owner to teach me new ways to communicate.

I am fantastic in the car, toilet trained, crate trained, walk nicely using a halti, can sit and shake. There is still so much I want to learn though, so you need to be a great teacher.

I love to show my foster mum and dad my soft toys and play tug of war with the other dogs. I will benefit from continued training as I sometimes forget I am a big boy, especially when playing.
