About Lorelai Gilmore ππβ€π
Little Miss Lorelai Gilmore, the sweetest dog on the block.
Little Loreli Gilmore is a Dachhound x Jack Russell
Lori has been an absolute pleasure to love in our foster home. She has adapted well to being in a house with 3 noisy kids (5, 10 & 12) and is ever so very gentle & patient with them. She does prefer to be inside, but doesn't get stressed if she has to go outside during the day. As long as she has a good bone, and somewhere to snuggle up in, she's pretty happy.
When Lori isn't following us around the house, she is in her happy place, curled up in a little ball napping on on the couch or sometimes on her foster parents bed trying to sneak under the covers! (Shhhh...Don't tell foster dad!!π) Lori is mostly toilet trained when inside and sleeps perfectly in her crate overnight (although would probably love to be an addition to someone's bed!)
Little Miss is fine with other dogs off lead but tries to be a rotty on lead lol
She isn't a hugely energetic dog around the house & yard, but does LOVE a walk. She will get a bit overexcited and pull on the lead & isnt terribly impressed when other dogs walk by, so will need someone who is happy to put in the work to train her learn how to be social with other dogs and some lead manners. She will also need some help with basic commands, as they are new to her. Lorelai isn't a big fan of playing with toys, and would much rather just stay by your side. She isn't a jumpy dog, so would be perfect for any age children. She makes it impossible not to smile when her whole body starts wagging with her tail with excitement when she sees you!
Lorelai will make a beautiful, calm addition to a home where she can spend her days adoring you.
We have not tested her with cats
If there is another dog in residence we are seeking a calm not overactive dog
( please see medical records)
Medical notes
Loreliai has a mild luxating parella grade 2 in her back leg. This causes no pain or issues to her. There is no swelling and no hip issues
The only effect this will have is to ensure she does not have an over exercised lifestyle
