About Cher
Hey there, Animal Life Saver. My name is Kelly, I'm a Karratha SAFE Photographer & Profiler. I'm going to speak for these little treasures because they're still babies & don't necessarily know the right words to use yet.
We have a homeless litter of 7 - this is Cher. She is currently fostered with a sister called, Cuba, in a very loving human foster family who have kids (cats, a guinea pig AND a budgie!) & a grown-up sheep dog - who is a wonderful role model for the little 'uns.
These two are gentle & well behaved considering they are puppies & have not been trained. Both of them were uber friendly & very sweet, jumping around like they'd never had company in their life before!
Cher is more brindle than her sister, Cuba, with only a little white. She continuously has her ears back as if she doesn't want to do anything wrong. Very sweet.
A little wary, she is not as confident as her sister. It took some effort for her to perk her ears up in interest & this transforms her in to a different looking puppy.
They have settled into foster family life quickly & well. They seem well adjusted, happy, healthy pups. It's thought this might be because they have had each other & the guidance of their canine foster sister (she growls when the puppies try to jump up on the outdoor table). Both puppies are great with kids & all humans & have beautiful dark eyes that are so full of hope, trust & love.
Cher's fur is so puppy soft. They are outside puppies, very food orientated & will be super easy to train - they just want to please. I threw the ball for them & they just looked at it - these puppies don't know how to play yet! They are beautiful blank canvas', vet checked, microchipped & raring to fit into any family dynamic or home environment as long as new owners are willing to spend the time & patience to train & unconditionally love.
I do hope one of these little pups resonates with you - if you think you've got what it takes to keep Cher's ears perked up & happy - ADOPT AMAZING TODAY!
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
