About 1430 - Alastor Moody
š¾ FOSTER VIEW TO ADOPT š¾
Hello Iām Alastor Moody
And today Iāve been given the duty
Of telling you that
Iām a really nice cat.
Who has exceptional taste
And extraordinary beauty.
A face only a mother could love? Hardly.
My face will be talk of the party.
I love a good cheek scratch,
If you like to cuddle weāll be a perfect match.
Iāll might be okay with another cat,
Maybe a dog whoāll have my back.
If you think I look interesting,
Send an email and we can set a meeting.

1430 - Alastor Moody
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black
DOB: 05/09/2013
Adoption Fee: $100
*Alastor Moody's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment*
Medical Notes: Alastor has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still live a potentially long healthy life. FIV is transmittable through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Alastor Moody will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats, however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
Alastor came to us with many of his teeth missing. He has had a dental procedure to remove 3 broken teeth and his remaining teeth have been scaled and polished. He is still able to eat biscuits. His mouth should be checked at his annual health check.
Alastor has been diagnosed with a grade 3 heart murmur (an abnormal sound in the heart). Heart murmurs are graded between 1 and 6 with 6 being the worst. Alastorās murmur currently is not causing issues and he is not symptomatic so does not require treatment. Heart murmurs can worsen with time so he will need to have his heart murmur checked at his annual health check.
Alastor has a lot of scarring on his face due to cat fights. He has also received scratches to his eyelids however these do not require further treatment.
Alastor was exposed to ringworm, a common fungal infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by a vet.
