Hi there! My name's Abby. I was found wandering and no-one claimed me from the pound. The rangers described me as a friendly and very cute puppy and asked SAFE to find me a home of my own. I'm pretty excited about that. I'm safe in my foster home now and learning what living in a home is all about and I'm loving it! Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.

It's always hard to know with rescue pups and mixed breed pups exactly how big they'll grow to, so SAFE estimates our eventual size. They're pretty good at it!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth for around $150 airfare.
