About Flossy
*FOSTER TO ADOPT*
I have been transferred to Lort Smith from another shelter with the hope of being viewed by a greater audience and getting adopted more quickly.
I admit, I can be clumsy at times with my lanky long legs. I sometimes forget just how big I am! I may be a staghound cross but I still want to leap into your arms and lean into you for smooches. For this reason, it's best that I don't go to a home with young children or small animals.
My ideal adopter is someone who is active and can provide me with plenty of mental stimulation. I will greatly benefit from formal training so I can work on my obedience and independence.
I have a history of separation anxiety (I just love company!!) and I am currently on medication to help me settle through the many changes I have recently encountered. This is why I am foster with a view to adopt. The staff will be happy to explain this process to my new family.
I love socialising with other dogs and playtime is my most absolute favourite activity. If you have another dog of similar size and enthusiasm for play, I’d love to meet them too!
Please give the Adoption Hub a call to find out more about me.
