About Jack
Do you have a list of your "dream dog" qualities? Does it go a little something like this?
- Great leash manners
- Toilet trained
- Friendly with all other dogs
- Small dog tolerant
- Very affectionate
- Travels well
- Calm and polite
Well let us introduce you to our gentleman Jack! This sweet boy would prefer a home where his people are around more often than not, as he is quite the little shadow and will follow you unobtrusively observing from a respectful distance, and delighting in any affection that may be offered.
He would be perfectly suited as an "office dog" where he can spend a work day snuggled up in a cozy corner, or would happily stay home as long as he has a calm canine companion (no high energy breeds please, Jack is not very interested in a playmate and would much prefer a stately older pal for synchronised naps).
While in our care Jack has not been tested with children, however he was surrendered to us as the baby in his household made him quite nervous when crawling - so we feel an adult only home would be best suited.
** While Jack has been tested as small animal tolerant, he is not suited to a home with cats **
Medical notes
It would appear Jack has suffered from "happy tail" and prior to coming into care with us has had half his tail removed, there are no ongoing health issues as a result of this, it just makes him more unique!
