""I like big DOGS & I can not lie"" - calling all large canine rescuers!! We have a sweet-tempered young man who is seeking a new loving family home. There may be some drooling involved but it goes with his cute wrinkle puppy face, MASSIVE paws & happy waggy tail!

Meet Duke & he is an absolute darling. Currently fostered with a gentle & kind family who love this big teddy bear. Duke is a black sharpei labrador cross weighing in at 40kg. Great big boof head & a ""boofy"" personality to go with it. Duke has no idea of his size, he's very affectionate & gentle & even tries to crawl into his favourite humans laps for cuddles. This big marshmallow dog mountain will crush your heart will endless unconditional love & adoration. Duke is genuine & very attentive when with you, his eyes are very expressive & it's almost as if you can tell the words they hold within them.

Approximately 2 years old, Duke has had some training. He is food orientated & knows a few tricks already. He can ""sit"", ""shake"" & knows how to ""stay"". He loves chasing after balls & toys thrown for him. He's house trained & toilets in just one section of the yard & he absolutely ADORES human company.

He is an outside dog in the day & then comes inside at night to watch T.V with his favourite people. Great with kids. He sometimes jumps up on adults to say ""Hi"" but is so soft about it & is slowly learning the word ""down"" for a better four paw greeting.

He doesn't dig (thank God or you would be to China in, like, no time at all!!), doesn't chew much (just on the odd toy). A very well behaved young fella. Perspective adopters need to be aware that he is a very LARGE dog & is therefore very strong - he has a placid nature & we can only imagine that he will mellow out even more once he's desexed shortly.

If you have a pool, FANTASTIC. This handsome man loves to keep trim by swimming. However, the beach is even better! Just be sure he doesn't get mistaken for a whale out on the Dampier peninsula if you take Duke boating - you may get a lot of unwanted attention! If you don't mind his size - Duke is an all-round Royal goodie & can only get more fabulous with age.
