About Meg
“Hello possums! I am Meg, and my whole life all I’ve known is being a mum. I was on death row, But now I find myself a lady of leisure and I can’t quite believe it yet. All this time on my hands and no forever home to share it with! I do hope you’ll give me a chance.
Now about me. I looooove men. Don’t get me wrong, I like the ladies too, but men have my heart! I don’t like those cat things, hmph! They can just stay away. I like other dogs and long walks on the beach with my man.
Now being a queen I need a throne (ie a comfy lounge or bed). This is a non-negotiable, but Im worth it of course! I don’t like being left alone too long without my attendants, so perhaps a retiree or at home/part time worker would be a good new attendant? And lastly, I have a “mega-colon”, a rather ghastly term, but it just means I need a high fiber diet which my current minions can fill you in on.
If youd be so kind as to give me a forever palace to live in, I’ll do my best as your regent to give you endless love and snuggle companion. Too-de-loo!”
Meg is 5-7 years old mixed breed dog who was used for back to back litters in a puppy mill before being dumped at the pound with her son Dusty left on death row to die. Peggy’s swept in and gave this lady a chance. She has all her vet work and is ready for a forever home.
Medical notes
Meg has been diagnosed with a mega colon, whilst sounding scary, it just means she will need a high fiber diet. Her current foster carer is working out the perfect mix but will be something like Senior kibble, pumpkin, carrot and a fiber supplement.
